The chandelier toad is an elegant addition to any home. There are so many different types of them and a chandelier toad can add light to your kitchen, your bathroom, or even your bedroom. They are very affordable and do not have to be installed by a professional. If you want them to look like they came from a grand palace, you can do it yourself with a little bit of know how. If you want them to be as easy as pie, you just turn them on, put the light somewhere that it will shine, and it should be done in a flash. Here’s how you can install a chandelier toad in your home.
Before you do anything else, you should make sure that you know how big your toad is. If you buy one from a department store, the size will be listed on the box. You need to get a measuring tape so that you can get the right size. Some chandeliers come with lights already attached, but if yours does not, then you need to measure from the bottom of the socket where the light comes out to the top of the ceiling where the fixture is. This will give you a clear idea about how tall the fixture needs to be.
Once you have found the right height for your chandelier toad, cut it with a saw that is as wide as the chandelier and attach it to the ceiling. Make sure that it is securely in place and wait for it to dry before putting the finishing trim on it. When it’s dry, you can go ahead and attach the finial trim around the chandelier. Install the finials one at a time so that the overall lighting design will look neat. When you are done, you can go back and put the finishing trim on before you hang the chandelier again.
