The first step to make a chandelier quilt is to select the fabric you will use. Typically, chandelier quilts are made using charm squares. However, if you prefer to use a more dramatic fabric, then you should consider creating a chandelier quilt using a dark background. The following quilt pattern is free and easy to download. Choose your fabric carefully. Most chandelier quilts are made with straight-line squares or rectangles. They can be precut, too. Choose a lighter color for the background, so that the cutouts stand out. You can use any fabric line that you like, but make sure to choose a fabric that compliments the rest of the room. Then, you can use your favorite quilting fabric for the cutouts. You can even create your own design – you can choose a color scheme that reflects your personality.
