1930’s/40’s Art Deco Pink “Sunflower” / “Petals” Glass Ceiling Light / Chandelier The Art Deco “Sunflower” ceiling light / chandelier! One of the most highly coveted Art Deco ceiling lights that is rewired and ready to install in your home. A truly wonderful ceiling light in a style that will enhance your period, modern, or eclectic decor. The soft pink version of the shade is somewhat rare. The chandelier is shown with a ceiling medallion. The ceiling medallion is not included. Additionally, light bulbs are not included. 17+1/2-inch drop/hang (from top of canopy bottom of finial) 14+1/4-inch (point to point) diameter, 3+1/2-inch depth pink /frosted/clear sunflower design heavy (nearly 7 pounds) pressed glass shade 2-part crystal glass stem / bobeche with eight (8) 3+5/8-inch (overall length) crystal prisms crystal glass canopy cover antique brass finish on metal fixture parts period correct machined solid brass finial replacement 3-light standard size ceramic/porcelain socket cluster with socket covers new lead wire and updated with a ground wire mounting hardware included An assumption is made that if you are looking at the sunflower chandelier you are familiar with it or at least the shade. I have chosen not to describe in detail the shade and glass pieces. Hence, the many photos. There is no center hole chipping on the shade which is very common with antique/vintage glass shades. The glass shade has two small repaired top surface chips (sometimes referred as “oysters” by glass people) on two of the petals. The repairs were made with a clear acrylic resin and scuffed to blend with adjacent frosted glass. The repairs are virtually undetectable and do not show in any of the photos. There are no issues with other glass parts. The glass shade and other glass parts may have inherent manufacturer irregularities such as straw marks marks. Standard size socket tapered bulbs are shown in the photos. My preference is to use this style of bulb or some type of tapered bulb rather than a traditional (larger diameter) shape bulb. Care should be taken so that larger diameter light bulbs do not get too close to, or contact the glass shade. Additionally, with this particular style shade or tapered bulbs are easier to change. Each socket can handle at least up to a 60-watt bulb. Pictures are of the actual sunflower ceiling light/chandelier. Variations in color among the photos is the result of color and light balancing, and exposure. Some close-up photos of the shade and prisms may show reflections of external objects. “Free Shipping” to any location in the 48 States. 1930’s/40’s Art Deco Pink “Sunflower” / “Petals” Glass Ceiling Light / Chandelier The Art Deco “Sunflower” ceiling light / chandelier!
